Rudolph Academy Launches Free Mad Minute Multiplication Game with Five Levels and Student Progress Tracking

The online 60-second multiplication fluency game uses progressive difficulty levels, badges, performance feedback and optional teacher assignment tracking.

COLUMBUS, OH, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Rudolph Academy has expanded its free online multiplication resources with the Mad Minute Multiplication Game, a fast-paced 60-second activity designed to help students strengthen multiplication fact recall, improve accuracy and progressively tackle more challenging multiplication problems.

Unlike a traditional worksheet-based timed drill, the online game provides students with an interactive multiplication challenge in which they have exactly 60 seconds to answer as many multiplication facts correctly as possible. At the end of each session, the activity automatically calculates results and provides performance information that students and teachers can use to identify areas needing additional practice.

The Mad Minute Multiplication Game includes five levels of increasing difficulty. Level 1 focuses on foundational facts involving 0s, 1s, 2s, 5s and 10s. Level 2 expands practice to multiplication facts from 0 through 10, while Level 3 concentrates more heavily on traditionally challenging fact families such as 3s, 4s, 6s, 7s, 8s and 9s. Level 4 expands the range through 12, and Level 5 introduces an Elite Multiplication challenge using factors from 6 through 15, missing-factor problems, squares and three-factor multiplication problems.

MORE THAN A 60-SECOND MULTIPLICATION DRILL

The game incorporates a series of features intended to encourage repeated practice. Students can earn multiplication badges, build answer streaks, receive speed feedback and track their best performance during a session. Confetti celebrations are also incorporated when achievement conditions are reached.
When the 60-second timer expires, the game automatically finishes the activity and produces a printable student report. The report can include missed multiplication facts, their correct answers, the student's best streak and a summary of weaker fact families. This allows a timed activity to become a diagnostic tool for determining what a student should practice next.

Students do not need individual Rudolph Academy accounts to use the game. Teachers who create a free teacher account can also generate assignment codes and distribute them to students. When students use a valid code, their Mad Minute results are automatically connected to the teacher's assignment and recorded for viewing through the Rudolph Academy Teacher Dashboard. Students can also use the game without an assignment code for independent practice.

PART OF A LARGER MULTIPLICATION PRACTICE SYSTEM

The Mad Minute Multiplication Game is also integrated with Rudolph Academy's broader Mastering Multiplication System, which combines timed practice with targeted worksheets, interactive flash cards, drills, multiplication word problems and math vocabulary activities. The system is structured around a simple progression: identify areas that need improvement, practice those skills, and return to timed practice to measure increasing speed and accuracy.

Students who struggle with a particular multiplication fact family can move from the timed game to more focused practice rather than repeatedly practicing material they already know. Rudolph Academy offers printable multiplication worksheets covering timed drills, individual fact families from 2s through 9s, basic multiplication, word problems, regrouping, multiplication involving fractions and decimals, multiplication tables, circle drills and other formats.

The site's interactive multiplication flash cards provide another form of targeted practice. Students can select an individual fact family or work through a mixed deck containing multiplication facts from 2s through 9s. Cards can be flipped, shuffled and repeated, allowing students to practice specific multiplication facts before returning to the timed Mad Minute challenge. This connection between assessment and targeted practice is central to Rudolph Academy's approach. A student might complete a Mad Minute round, identify 7s and 8s as difficult fact families, practice those facts with flash cards or printable worksheets, and then return to the game for another timed attempt.
