Prime 1 Studio opens pre-orders for Josh Nizzi Megazord statue

Prime 1 Studio has opened pre-orders for a $4,899 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Megazord statue designed by Josh Nizzi, with delivery planned for June 2028. The 1/4-scale release adds LED lighting, swappable parts and a bonus wing set for collectors.

Why it matters: - Prime 1 Studio is targeting collectors with a high-end, limited-run Power Rangers statue that combines nostalgia with a redesigned, display-focused sculpt. - The release extends the company’s Ultimate Diorama Masterline line with a large-format Megazord piece priced at $4,899 and capped at 50 units. - The statue’s June 2028 arrival date gives buyers a long lead time, which is typical for premium collectible pre-orders.

What happened: - Prime 1 Studio opened pre-orders on November 5, 2026, for the Ultimate Diorama Masterline Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Megazord (Design by Josh Nizzi) Bonus Version. - The statue is based on the original Megazord from the 1993 live-action series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. - The company also listed 1/4-scale statues of all five Power Rangers for pre-order.

The details: - The Megazord statue uses a design by Josh Nizzi, a mechanical designer known for Hollywood film work. - The sculpt keeps the original Megazord color scheme while adding tonal adjustments, weathering and paint chipping. - The figure features more detailed mechanical structures, revised proportions and a more human-like anatomical balance. - LED illumination is built into the eyes of all five Dinozords. - The themed base shows a city under threat to emphasize scale. - The package includes a swappable head, two swappable arm options and a tail to recreate Mega Dragonzord. - The Mega Dragonzord configuration also includes LED illumination in the eyes and cannon muzzles. - The bonus version includes enlarged redesigned wings inspired by the Pterodactyl Dinozord. - The product measures 69 cm high, 51 cm wide and 54 cm deep in Megazord form. - The Mega Dragonzord configuration measures 77 cm high, 63 cm wide and 51 cm deep. - The winged Megazord configuration measures 77 cm high, 53 cm wide and 54 cm deep. - The statue weighs about 28.6 kg and uses polystone and other materials. - The listed retail price is $4,899. - The edition size is 50. - The expected arrival date is June 2028. - The LED power supply method is still to be determined. - Prime 1 Studio says buyers should prepare batteries, USB cables or other necessary items depending on the final power method. - Copyright for the release is held by SCG Power Rangers LLC and Hasbro under authorization. - More information is available on Prime 1 Studio’s online store.

Between the lines: - The design choices aim to modernize a familiar pop-culture character without losing the core silhouette that made the Megazord recognizable. - The limited edition, large size and included alternate configurations position the statue as a premium collector item rather than a mass-market product. - The bonus wings and Mega Dragonzord parts add display variety, which can increase appeal for dedicated fans and high-end statue buyers.

What's next: - Prime 1 Studio will move forward with production ahead of the June 2028 delivery window. - Buyers will need to wait for final confirmation on the LED power supply method before delivery. - The company’s broader character-statue lineup remains part of its catalog as it approaches its 15th anniversary on March 30, 2027. - Prime 1 Studio lists more updates through its social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and X.
